Sales Engineer-Mid-Atlantic

ElectriComm, Inc., a well-established Manufacturers’ Rep Organization serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region, is looking for a highly motivated sales professional to grow with our firm. ElectriComm sells High Voltage Electrical Equipment to the Power Industry and Large Power Consumers. Our product lines are focused on all aspects of the electric power industry including the Substation, Generation, Transmission and Distribution Departments. Over the past three years ElectriComm has experienced tremendous growth making it necessary to employ additional sales staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping manage and sell into the MD, DC, DE and Eastern PA Territory.

Our product lines cover a broad range of Substation and Transmission apparatus including Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Substation Parts & Services, Power Meters, Protective Relays, Insulators, Test Equipment and SCADA/Communications Equipment. The complete Line Card will be discussed and made available during the interview process.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent organizational and communications skills and be willing to travel. The candidate must be proficient with computer applications including, Internet, e-mail, report generation, database management & maintenance and Power Point. Follow-up and response to inquiries must be completed in a timely and effective fashion. Technical sales experience and a technical degree or equivalent on the job experience required.

Job responsibilities related to this position include visiting with existing customers including utilities, Genco’s, large industrials, transit, distributors, municipalities and coops. The successful candidate will meet with the appropriate company representative to discuss ElectriComm’s product lines, identify projects and provide information on applicable products to the end users. Positioning the company to be a preferred supplier is the ultimate goal. Managing territory accounts, being aware of sales opportunities and closing sales is of utmost importance for this position.
